GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Scope of application
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all orders placed through our online shop. Our online shop is exclusively directed at consumers. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that can predominantly be attributed neither to their commercial nor their self-employed professional activity. An entrepreneur is a natural or legal person or a legal partnership that
acts in the exercise of its commercial or self-employed professional activity when concluding a legal transaction.
2. Contracting Parties, Conclusion of Contract, Correction Options
The purchase contract is concluded with Corneliastreet. By displaying products in the online shop, we make a binding offer for the conclusion of a contract regarding these items. You can initially place our products in the shopping cart without obligation and correct your entries at any time before submitting your binding order by using the correction aids provided and explained for this purpose in the ordering
process. The contract is concluded by accepting the offer via the order button for the goods contained in the shopping cart. Immediately after sending the order, you will receive another confirmation by email.
3. Contract language, contract text storage
Languages available for the conclusion of the contract: German, English. We store the contract text and send you the order data and our GTC in text form. You can view the contract text in our customer login.
4. Ordering Process and Payment Terms
For products from the category "MADE TO ORDER," the buyer acquires the goods in advance and pays the full purchase price. The goods will be custom-made for the customer after receipt of payment and will be shipped to the buyer within a period of 90-120 working days.
Products from the category "READY TO SHIP" are in stock and will be shipped to the buyer within 3-5 working days after purchase with the full purchase price paid.
5. Production and Delivery Conditions
READY TO SHIP: Products from this category are in stock and will be shipped within 3-5 working days after receipt of payment.
MADE TO ORDER: Products from this category are produced on order. The estimated production time for a rug is 90-120 days. The buyer will be informed about the expected delivery date by email after the product is completed.
CUSTOM ORDER: If a rug is customized, the same production and delivery conditions apply as for MADE TO ORDER.
6. Shipping Costs
The indicated product prices already include shipping costs. We only deliver by shipping. Self-collection of the goods is possible by arrangement. We do not deliver to packing stations.
7. Waiting Times/Delivery Delays
During the monsoon season in India, which lasts from June to September, longer waiting times for your order may occur. The monsoon season can affect production and shipping processes, leading to delays in delivery.However, we will take all reasonable measures to keep waiting times to a minimum and inform you about any delays in a timely manner. We ask for your understanding and assure you that we will do our best to deliver
your ug as quickly as possible.
8. Product Characteristics
The motifs, patterns, and borders all scale harmoniously with the size of the rug, so your final product may slightly differ from the representation online. As all our rugs are handmade, slight
irregularities or individual features may occur. It is precisely these characteristics that give your rug its unique charm. The width and length of your rug may deviate by a few centimeters from the ordered standard size due to the handmade production process.
Color Deviations
Please note that the colors on your rug may slightly differ from their online representation, but never to a significant extent. We strive to present our rugs as true to the original as possible under natural lighting. However, due to differences in screen settings, colors may vary slightly on different monitors. If you have any questions about the colors, please feel free to contact us by email.
9. Payment
The following payment methods are generally available in our shop:
Credit card
By placing the order, you provide your credit card details. After your legitimation as a legitimate cardholder, the payment transaction will be automatically carried out, and your card will be charged.
PayPal, PayPal Express
During the ordering process, you will be redirected to the website of the online provider PayPal. To pay the invoice amount via PayPal, you must be registered there or first register, legitimize yourself with your access data, and confirm the payment instruction to us. After placing the order in the shop, we will ask PayPal to initiate the payment transaction. The payment transaction will be carried out automatically by PayPal immediately after the goods are received. You will receive further instructions during the ordering process.
Google Pay
In order to be able to pay the invoice amount via Google Pay, you must be registered with the service provider Google, have activated the Google Pay function, identify yourself with your access data and confirm the payment order. The payment transaction is carried out immediately after placing the order. You'll get more information during the ordering process.
10. Retention of Title
The goods remain the property of Corneliastreet until full payment has been made.
11. Damage in transit
If goods are delivered with obvious transport damage, please report such defects to the deliverer as soon as possible and contact us immediately. Failure to make a complaint or contact us will not affect your statutory rights and their enforcement, especially your warranty rights. However, you will help us to assert our own claims against the carrier or transport insurance.
12. Warranty and Guarantees
Our handmade rugs are produced with the utmost care and craftsmanship to ensure the highest quality and durability.
a) We guarantee that the handmade carpets are free from material and processing defects at the time of delivery.
b) Should a handmade carpet show defects within the statutory warranty period that already existed at the time of delivery, we will, at our discretion, rectify the defect, replace the carpet, or refund the purchase price.

13. Warranty Exclusions
Our handmade rugs are produced with great care and craftsmanship to ensure the highest quality and durability. However, carpets are subject to natural wear and tear with regular use. The following cases are excluded from our warranty:
Normal wear and tear: Rugs are consumer goods and are subject to natural wear and tear over time, especially with frequent use.
Damage from Improper Use: Improper handling, cleaning or care of the rugs that does not follow recommended guidelines may result in damage and will void the warranty.
Accidental Damage: Damage caused by accident, mishandling, or improper use of the carpet.
Changes due to external influences: Damage or changes to the carpets due to extreme environmental conditions, such as strong sunlight, humidity or high temperatures.
Pet Damage: Damage caused by pets, such as scratches or bite marks.
The above exclusions do not apply to defects that were already present at the time the rug was delivered. In this case, our warranty applies in accordance with the statutory provisions. If you have any questions about the care or proper use of your carpet, we will be happy to advise you. Please refer to the care instructions and recommendations provided to ensure the longevity of your rug.
14. Procedure in case of warranty
If you discover a defect in the handmade carpet that falls under the warranty or the manufacturer's guarantee, please inform us immediately. We will examine the defect and advise you on how to proceed to remedy the defect. Please note that the warranty and manufacturer's guarantee only apply to the original purchaser of the rug and are not transferable.

16. Dispute Resolution
